transmission on 535d

25k miles on car.

car has become sluggish to change up gear, rev counter is jumping a bit aswell.
sometimes wont go into 6th unless i release gas.

anyone experience anythin like this?

Sounds kind of odd... especially the rev counter jumping...
regarding the reluctance to change up a gear the only I can think of is that the transmission, by design, is supposed to adapt to your driving style. Could it be this? There are a few threads on how this works if you do a search.
