Hi all,
My new 550 transmission seems to be very jerky it is not smooth in Normal mode like BMW smooth and it gets worst when i put it in S mode. I was reading the treads here that you can reseting the tranny by pressing the gas pedal but no luck there.
My question is is this normal on a 11K mile car or should I visit the stealer-ship. I have full warranty on the car I just want to know if this is something any of you might have come across?
Manny thanks,
S.

Our transmissions learn a driving pattern from 0 to 1000 miles and the software stops "learning". So, if the drive pattern was not to your liking for those 1000 miles the only way to work around it is to "reset" the software and drive it like you stole it for 1000 miles. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
The reset option works wonders.
