Trans ATF ?

My Ride: '06 550i '84 Nissan S12 Turbo

So I called my local BMW indy shop to find out how much a transmission flush would be, and he added they use BG atf. Is this compatible? I've read and been told that the only ATF that is compatible is Shell M-1375.4 which is only avail. at the dealer

You are right about the Shell M-1375.4 compatibility. You can also use this:

ZF Lifeguardfluid6 (ZF No. S671 090 255)

As well as any fluid with the appropriate compatibility. I plan on doing a DIY using the Pentosin brand sold by RM European. I don't know about "BG" but any fluid that meets the compatibility standard should suffice. Here's some attachments...

The Indy shop got back with me......BG atf is not compatible.
