Tramllining issue with Michelin PS2s

My Ride: 2007 530i, white/black manual, sports package, nav, PDC, etc.
I bought these tires for my 2007 530i/sport, and right out of the gate, I'm getting a bit of tramlining on the freeway.
Tire pressures and alignment are all within factory spec. These tires are the special Y97 heavy duty version (as compared to the normal Y93).
Michelin as a 30 day return privilege, but I'm still stuck with RT shipping with Tire Rack and additional remounting costs.
Has anyone experienced this issue with these tires or other PS2s?

Any particular reason why you went for the 97Y instead of the 93Y? Tyre Rack lists the 97Y for Audi and the 93Y for BMW.Sidewalls must be stiffer so that could be the reason.

Price. The 97Y was about $200 cheaper. I knew I was getting a slightly stiffer sidewall, but I wasn't expecting the tramlining issue. I may replace them with the new Supersports, but I want to be absolutely sure this doesn't repeat.

The slightly higher load capacity shouldn't contribute to tramming. If not resulting from suspension issue or mal-alignment that typically is caused by a tire construction/manufacturing issue. And, it may be only one tire that is the culprit. Before shipping everything/anything back to TireRack maybe an authorized Michelin Dealer can investigate the problem. If it's a bad tire that warranty issue should / could be handled by an authorized Michelin dealer.

you need to play with tire pressures until you get what you want. the pressures listed in the door jamb are for the run flats. you will need more pressure than that. I run my fronts at 38 and rears at 40, but my rears are 275s.

Vehicle was aligned at the same time, and I checked the printed report to make sure the toe and camber were within spec.
The installing dealer is Michelin authorized. Interesting that one tire could be bad -- I thought the issue was inherent in the design of the tire. I'll try rotating front to back.
