I am not seeing traffic indicted on my nav. Mine, is a 2005 e60. However, I know that newer models do show the traffic. Is mine too old, do I need to activate something or what. Please shed some light on this for me.

If TMC has been available on European E60s since 03 why is the US equivalent only available on 2007 and later 5 Series produced after September 2006? It uses the same RDS-TMC channel to provide data. Are US spec GPS receivers not equipped with the required FM receivers?

Could this be a software upgrade?
