i believe that the correct way to do it is to press the DTC button in the center console and hold it pressed for 5-6 seconds. More experienced guys correct me if i am wrong

Yep one press turns off DSC+ bit leaves on DTC - press and hold for everything off.

You will have an enourmous orange warning light in the middle of your dash - but this shrinks after a little bit.

Yep, hold the DTC button until the triangles show up in the middle of your instrument cluster.

Hi, my new 2006 525i has less then 1k but I have this diffect on the DSC/DTC. It was melfunction, the steering kinda stiff when I turn and I took it to the dealer and they say is common and they will replace it with a new upgrade sensor for this. I don't know if anyone has this problem? Please help.
They order the new sensor from Germany and it took them more then a week already but they still have gotten the par yet. Anyone has this problem yet?
