I am trying to confirm if you can tow a 545i 6 speed manual without hurting the transmission? I haven't heard of this being a problem before but somebody interested in buying my car wants to tow it behind their RV and a gentleman who develops tow brackets for cars said that a BMW 6 speed can't be towed unless it is turned on. This didn't make sense to me but wanted to confirm if that is indeed true.
