my audio tone settings are not being saved. i make changes to them and when i turn off the car and lock it, then reenter the car the tone setting are back to the middle.

the radio stations are stored with no probs, seems like it would save the tone settings as well.

i am using the same remote to unlock the car.

is this a software glitch? do i need to save the configuration and associate them with the remote i am using?

please help.
thanks.

I just tried the following: I changed the Treble setting, then removed the key and restarted. The Treble setting was remembered, but this was with key only out a few seconds. I can have another look when car totally shuts down (20 minutes, right?). I have L7.

i'm not sure how long it takes for the car to go to sleep mode. i don't have L7, just the 10 speaker system.

So after about five hours, the Treble settings were still in memory...

ok thanks. i wonder if my battery is the culprit, it is 5 yrs old after all. the voltage is 12.13 volts. a new and fully charged batt is about 12.5 volts. i could be that when i start the car the voltage drops enough to lose some memory functions.

other ideas?
