browellm - damn, that sucks. I would be really annoyed if this would happen to me. Maybe the best thing to do is report it to your dealer and ask them whether they can update your software. Most likely this should fix your problem.

Guys
I have business nav with the two tuner radio. I have never got TMC to work in the UK although it did work once when I drove through Germany. I have looked in the menus and see no options to set TMC preferences - whilst they do exist to set TP preferences. Can anyone explain where exactly I should look to set TMC preferences?
Thx

I find that TMC comes on almost immediatly, but, even with "Dynamic Routing" switched on, it doesn't divert me round traffic problems.....anyone else find this?
Also, the other day, I spotted a problem on my route (M4 closed), so I diverted around Swindon.....Nav didn't like this, went beserk, telling me to take a U turn, then locked up, then all buttons failled to work, then the stereo came on at full volume - pulled over into some services, switched off the car.....stereo went off. Was walking into the services to get coffee - about 30 meters from the car I heard a stereo so loud it must have been making the vehicles occupants ears bleed - then I realised it was my car - stereo had switched itself back on. The only wway I could shut it up was to pull the fuse......then it was fine. Anyone experiance similar?

Rob - Damn, that really sucks. I hope something like that will never happen to my car. If so I will bring it immediately to my dealer and they have to fix it otherwise I would certainly reject the car. No way that I am willing to drive a car that acts like that!

Rob, I was shocked to read of your experience.
I'm mightilly miffed with my stereo (std kit)
(i) Can come on at full blast whilst driving along ( has doen this twice in 4 months) happened with our 5 month old son in the rear - we were not pleased!
(ii) Mute button fails to "revert" you back to previous station if you get an unwanted traffic report on an alternate station to the one you were listening on.
(iii) Sound quality is less than a ?9K peugeot audio system.
