Ti silver is about the most anesthetic color I can imagine.

It looks like a damned rental car.

You wax the thing, and you can't even tell the difference. Makes the effort worthless.. .

However, it retains the new look longer and does not show the swirles, scratches and chips ie the darker colors . Owning black, blue and dark gray cars for the last 15 years I really appreciate the TS.

Agreed. I have a TiAg car myself, but had a couple of black cars prior to this one. I definitely appreciate the fact that most swirls/etc. are hidden by the color.

The silver has long been the classic E39 color and was on my list as the color of choice.

However, the new lines of the E60 and the much bigger doors, due to the new European standard, do not pay it justice.

Granted, color is a personal choice. The E60 looks better in the darker colors - they hide the long door lines and no molding. The light colors of choice are white and silver-grey if you are interested in a car that looks clean and hides potential swirl marks - which is the route I have gone (silver grey, which I am very happy with).

If you have the energy to keep the car clean, black and blue are the most awesome colors.

TiAg here. The color is common among all makes and models, but it's undoubtedly classic.

It's funny in how many of us want to be unique, but our color choice, whether silver or gray, makes us blend in.

I think TiAg shows the lines of the car better than, say, black or a dark color. I currently own a Jet Black M3 and keep telling myself I will never get another black. I have become a detailing nut, and it is just so difficult to keep a black car pristine.
