i love mine

but the sidewall is pretty unassuming and not as sexy as other sidewalls on tire brands

I have another set of s-03's so im comparing my invo's directly to those

I got my Falken 452 installed yesterday i was so close to canceling my special order for the Nitto Invo. Well i soon discovered my front passenger rim was bent from the inside and as i drive off to find a Independent BMW shop for my alignment, everybody was busy and not to open for business till Tuesday for the holiday weekend I noticed right away vibration at 45-60mph on residential streets I took my car back for another balancing this morning its SMOOTHER but my ride feels like I am driving over little sticks the streets look even no massive cracks.

First thing on Tuesday i am going to find a rim repair shop, Wednesday Alignment at independent BMW shop, later that afternoon if my car still vibrates im going to blow my top off

I put on a set of Nexen N3000 and have been very disappointment. I can?t get rid of a shimmy that comes in around 100 km /hr and is there past 140. Not sure if it is there higher, speed laws are pretty severe here. If you are caught 50 km over the posted limit the car is seized for a week and you face up to a $10,000 fine.

The strange thing about the shimmy is that it gets worse when I accelerate. I thought it might be something to do with the power train but it is still there when I push the clutch in.

I have had the tires rebalanced twice at BMW and tried various tire pressure settings. The tires also seem to have a flat spot after sitting for a while. I get a shimmy at low speeds for the first 5 km or so.

I had hoped, based on reviews, that the Nexen?s would be better

Hey P, welcome to the E60.net, soon to be renamed.

You mentioned something about traffic laws being “severe here”. Where is here? Sounds like it is not the US,

Also it is helpful to post info on what you ride around in or on.

Enjoy.

I should have mentioned, mine is an 05 545, 6 speed, premium and sport package, and I am located near Toronto, Canada.
Front tires are 245/40/18, rears are 275/35/18.

The car has been a great car so far, although i did have to replace the engine at 60,000 kms but it was covered under warranty.

The only regret is the tires, Nexen N3000.
