I know there has to be a post concerning the best tires for a 2004 545i.... can someone help me out and point me in that direction because I'm unable to find it.

Also you might want to mention if you have stock rims (is yes, then what size?) whether you want bigger rims. This info helps, and even then you will still get thousands of opinions.
Michelin PS2. If you want better wear and a bit of loss in handling, get the A/S (all season version). I may get A/S next time if I can find someone else who can confirm the handling loss is not huge. I get mine at Costco. Be sure to compare final price including installaion, balancing, and road hazard insurance. I just got a rear tire replaced virtually free due to multiple nail holes. They are too expensive to not get the insurance and at Costco, it's included.

Guys,
Thanks for the feedback, I live in NY so I'm kinda leaning towards more of a all season tires to deal with the varied weather elements. I have stock 18' rims. I've narrowed my choices down to the following;
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (Ultra High Performance All-Season)
I would like to spend no more than $225 a tire, I would like something that doesn't effect handling, that is smooth and has good tread life.
Thoughts on my choices?

I don't remember which car magazine I saw but they have 10 tires brand comparison against the michelin ps2 and let me tell you , that dunlop came out 1st.
I have dunlop stock on my car sport 8080 I believe , and they perform very well.
