Tired of harsh riding Run-Flats on 545i

Awaiting delivery of new 545i sport in 2 weeks. Told dealer I want the run flats taken off when car delivered and replaced with either, Michelin Pilot Sport-PS2 or Goodyear Eagle F1-GS-D3 non Run-Flats. I will pay the difference in price and pay for the installation as well.(Tired of harsh and firm ride with the Dunlop Run-Flats).These are the top rated Max Performance Summer tires in Tire Racks tire survey results. Can't decide which of these I should order. Looking for a smooth riding, good handling tire that doesn't tramline. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with either of these tires on the 5451 sports?

My Ride: '05 545i, silver gray, black leather with anthracite maple wood, sport package, premium sound, navigation, cold weather package, electric rear sunshade, folding rear seat, satellite radio prep, PIAA 4150K fogs, red rear reflectors, hardwired Valentine One
I've had Michelin Pilot Sports on my last 2 Carreras (PS2's on my last one) and liked them a lot.

It is really hard to go wrong with Michelin.

Both are terrific tires. A couple nice things about the Goodyears - first they look really aggressive - great tread pattern. Second they have a very thick rim protector - it's saved me a couple times.
Otherwise, the Goodyears are a bit better in the wet, the Michelins a bit better in the dry. Both great tires though.

Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)
The Michelin PS2 is a great tire. I had them on my old E46 330CI and loved them. I think these tires saved my life when I got the accident.

My Ride: 2005 545i, Black on black. 6spd MT, Nav, sports package.
I've been driving with the Dunlops and havent noticed any harsh ride or excessive noise. Are michelins that much better?

Wolverine, I believe you have the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires on your 545i Sport, but in 19s rather than the 18s I am thinking of getting. In reading the couple of hundred reviews by consumers on the Tire Rack site, The only real difference mentioned was that on the staggered size set-up on the 540 sports and 545i sports which have a natural tendency to tramline anyway, the Goodyears got knocked for excessive Tramlining, while the Michelin Pilot Sport-PS2 were praised for not tramlining. My current 545i with Dunlop run-flats tramline terribly, to the point that I often can't stay in certain worn down lanes on some highways. What is your experience on the TRAMLINING of your Goodyears?.Need to make a decision this week on which to go with, so would appreciate your response.
