It's time for new times on my 545i. I do not want all season tires. I want something to compliment my hard driving style. What do you guys think I should get?

My Ride: 2011 M3 Convertible, Alpine White/black, 6 speed
2011 535xi Tasmin Green, Venetian Beige
Without any reservations at all you should get Bridgestone SO3 Pole Positions. IMO they blow away the P Zero, Contis and Pilot Sports all of which I have owned. Also, shockingly, they are fairly reasonably priced.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
There are at least 5000 thread/replies to this question. See SEARCH function. but my guess is Michelin PS2.
Good luck,

My Ride: 2005 545i Sport, Premium, Logic 7, Jet Black, Black Leather, M-Aero Kit, 15% (very dark) Tint, Eichbach Lowering Springs, Red Brake Calipers, Radenergie R-10's, Michelin PilotSport2 in 245/35/20 and 285/30/20, Rolled Fenders, and a nifty Graco Baby Car Seat.
Next Up: Xenon fogs, Eisemann Exhaust, iPod Interface, Comfort Seats.
Take this recommendation and take it straight to wherever you are going to buy your tires, and promise not to buy anything else or you will have wasted my time:
MICHELIN PILOT SPORT2 (aka PS2).
My job is done here.
Kidding- everyone's opinion matters. But I rarely make recommendations, and I only do so when I am absolutely certain that anyone who takes it will be well-served. If you were an idiot, and took my advice not knowing that I really know what I am talking about, and didn't do your own basic research (such as on the tire selector tool and review section of www.tirerack.com), then I know you'd STILL be exceptionally happy that you listened to my advice.
Regardless, whatever you decide, good luck!

wingfan, I just replaced my runflats with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s, and couldn't be happier.
For what it's worth, I also live in Dallas and find the PS2s work very well on our mainly concrete, often choppy roads.
Good luck
