the stock tires on my 19's are 245/35 front and 275/30 rear. That size is what you'll need unless yours sits higher than mine. Since mine is the m sport package i think it sits lower
Mine def prob sits higher as its just factory 528 Xdrve w no sport suspension. I just want to make sure it's right before I go get all this stuff. Next is tpms sensors will any ones work? Or do u need oem ?

I think you can remove the sensors from your OEM wheels and put them on the new ones.

I'm not sure about the offset for your xdrive vehicle. Dont they need a higher offset?

I just replaced my OEM ContiSport2 275/30/19 rears on my 2008 550i Sport 172m wheels with wider Toyo 295/30/19 tires and they look awesome! They also barely fit, 305/30/19 would probably be the absolute limit without some inner fenderwell lining modifications. I plan on replacing the front 245/35/19 with 255/35/19 soon.
  • The extra tread width fills the wells alot better,
  • makes for a more flush line-up with the wheel arches,
  • provides for a less harsh ride,
  • and offers much better curb protection.

I'm sure non-sport suspension and xDrive models may offer more or less tire clearances, so to be safe, I usually stay within a tread width increase of +20mm of the stock tire size.

I think xdrive cars use like 35/45mm offset... anyone else chime in on this?

Everyone is right about the offset... it's too low. The 528xi and 535xi use +43 offset for the 8-inch rim (+55 offset for the staggered 9-inch rear). Your offset and extra 1/2-inch wide rim will push your wheel setup almost 30mm (3cm) outwards on the front. If that +20 is the same for the rear, it will stick out even more.

I've assumed that most people that sell stuff don't know what they are talking about, so you gotta do your own research to uncover the truth.

Take a look at the BMW star spoke 123 wheel below. That wheel is available on all E60 models, even xdrive ones. Two different versions are made (with different part numbers) for the proper rear-drive or xdrive models. Same exact rim with +43 offset for E60 xdrive and +20 offset for all other E60.

E60N 528xi/535xi BMW LA wheel, star spoke 123: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...70&hg=36&fg=15
E60N 528i/535i/550i BMW LA wheel, star spoke 123: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...70&hg=36&fg=15

Basically, the seller thought the offset was fine for an E60, and it is, but not for the xdrive models.
