My Ride: 04 Titanum silver E60 545i individual(rear DVD a/v set), sport package, active steering, cold weather package, multi contour seat, active cruise control, front & rear seat heating, split-folding rear seats, power rear sunshade/manual rear side window shades, premium sound package, smoked sun/wind deflector
Default

front : 245/30R20
rear : 295/25R20

I think this is the right size.

But, as I read in this forum, usually used 245/35-20 in the front & 275/30-20 in the rear.
How do you think about that?
Doesn't it rub?

Ps.. I'm new in this forum. & I'm not good at speaking & writing English.
If I make a mistake in conversation(ex. grammar, wrong expression) from now on, please understand me. ^^;

Those size is recommanded by tirerack.
Is it really big?

It seems total size is almost same.
It is so difficult to choose rims & tires. -_-;

245/30/20 front and 285/25/20 rears would be a correct conversion and should not catch.

AC Schnitzer uses the 295 on the rear.

245/35 and 275/30 are originally the tire sizes for a 19" wheel. As a rule you loose 5% aspect ratio per inch bigger wheel. 275/25 don't exist to my knowledge, so 285/25 is the next possibility.

I know many people use the 19" tire sizes on the 20", but I wouldn't. Will also kick out your speedo out by approx 4%, so if you do 70mp/h on the speedo, you're doing appr 73mp/h in reality.

Just bear that in mind, if you should go for that solution.

How come ACS uses 295 on rear?Has it got something to do with offset?I would bet 295 would rub otherwise.I was looking at the Hartge 21" setup,but untill you try it you dont know what it will do in 'real world' conditions with pot holes,etc.

I want to install Radenergie R10 20" or Iforge seneka 20" for my E60 545i.
Please let me know the right size of tire & offset for each wheel without rubbing.
It 's not easy to get right & useful informations for these in my city.
Thank you.

245/30/20 with 285/25/20 or 255/30/20 with 295/25/20 will both be perfectly alright for the job.

Possibly below link can lend you some help, too, as it is very informative

http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html

And I would have the 245/285 combo on a 9/10" combination

Do not like to be the party braker kbjoo123 but anything bigger than
19" 245/35 19" and 275/30 19" is not good for the car or its behavior
nor the looks!
