My Ride: 2008 550i w/sport pkg & sport auto tranny; Beyern black mesh wheels, Dinan Level III suspension

The Goodyear Asymmetrics have treated me well. The original Continentals lasted 9,000 miles, which included 1,000 miles on the autobahn and two track days at Texas Motor Speedway. I replaced them with Goodyear Asymmetrics, and the rears lasted 10,700 miles before I replaced them with the same tire (the fronts have plenty of tread at this time, so I replaced only the rears). This mileage included two track events as well as some spirited driving. I am overall pleased with this tire, but will more than likely try the Michelins for my next tire change for comparison purposes. For info purposes, I drive an '08 550i w/sport package and a Dinan Stage 2 suspension set up.

Thanks for everyone's input and suggestions, it sounds like the GoodYear is favorable and can get out of more mileage and quietness and the rest of the other brands.

It would good to hear how you like the Asymmetrics. I'm on the fence between these and the RE760 Sports. I believe the Goodyear is the better tire but the 220 wear rating has me concerned about how long they would last under just normal driving. I had some similar wear rated tires on a fairly light sports car and got less than 10K miles from them.
