seems that theres a known issue with tireracks TPMs in the cold weather. what a load of shit. im gonna go after tirerack for my money back and instlation costs for this "known issue" that wasnt mentioned 2 me. anyone know where i can get oem TPM's?
TPMS sold by tirerack are made by Beru. Same company that makes OEM BMW TPMS. If you have to have the original ones you can get them from a BMW dealer or eBAY (used).

I don't now, maybe BERU sells those that fail quality control to Tirerack while the good ones they send to BMW. Anyway, here is the link to ebay auction just for your information: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-OEM-Tir...sQ5fAccessories

Hey did you try resetting the TPM? If so are you still getting a message?

btw- what are the specifics of the "known issue" Tire rack was telling you?

Just another data point - My OEM wheels/tires, with about 450 miles on it since new, gave me this exact error last week when the temperature dropped....

I have been mounting/dismounting winter and summer tires but was going to get spare wheels/tires/sensors with the new car. Would like to know the know issues at Tirerack.
