tire pressure for OEM tires on 545i sport
#1
hey guys,
the other day i checked my tire pressure and noticed it significantly lower than the requirements written on the inside of my door. I also noticed a discrepancy between the inside label and my manual.
Which one do I use?
I have a set of bridgestone run flat tires for my 545i sport.

If you do some searching here, you'll see tons of information about "proper pressure" but here's just one thread where both door jamb labels are pictured:

my 05' 545 says 36 for the front and 42 in the rears, 42? this is my first bmw and i have never seen or heard of 42psi before.
Anyways, im running dunlop rft's with 36psi in front and 40 psi in the rears at the moment, is this too much or should i go lower ?
