I am thinking of changing to new pairs of tires.

any suggestion ?

or

contisport 3 ( any differences between 2 and 3.)

or

or

Both ContiSports are great chioces; both in regards to handling, road noise and duration. I've tried both and I am more than pleased!

I'm running Michalin PS2 on my summer rims -- same size as the M172s.

The tyre is quiet, comfortable and most has excellent grip from both a standing start and conrnering at high speeds.

Have only had them one summer, so cannot say how long they last -- so far so good!

Just changed my rears to Kuhmo ECSTA KU31 96 Y 275 X 30 X 19
They seem as good if not better than th OEM Continentals (a lot quieter) and very good price compared to Continentals and Michelins (Paid ?290 inc fitting and VAT for 2)

I have had the Continental ContiSport2 and the Goodyear F1 tires on my previous car, an E46. The Continentals became noisy after 10,000 miles. I replaced them with the Goodyears. They were smoother and quieter throughout their life. I replaced the Goodyears with another set of Goodyears.
