My Ride: 525ise, Dec 2003, Silver Grey, Black Dakota Leather, Bluetooth, 18'' Runflats, Folding mirrors, Automatic/man box,parking sensers front/rear,latest addition 645ci black saphire, with everthing on, nothing it does not have.
im in the uk and does anyone recommend places to get my car done. Also what is involved in doing it.

I live in Texas and drive a black car. Enough said. I need to have it done in the near future. I had to use my sleeve the other day to hold my steering wheel it was so hot. Ohh and not to mention it looks much better with tints.
Lets not forget the original purpose of tinting!
Does anyone know the legal aspect of tinting?
Does it vary from state to state?
Do people get the front windshield tinted along with the back window? I'm new at this. I'm from the Northeast where we don't tint unless it's an Escalade with 24's.

Tinting the front windshield is illegal in most states. Some states allow for a medical exemption, which means if an eye doctor gives you a note, you can get 50% tint installed legally.
That said, I have had the entire front windshield on my last 3 cars tinted. On my Acura Legend Coupe, I had 32% tint. I never once got in trouble for it.... even though I did get caught speeding. But the cops never noticed my windshield.
It just depends on your state, though. Since I live in FL, I can get away with 20% tint easily.... even though it's illegal.... because there is no state inspection. If your state has inspections, then you're screwed. My mom moved her car from SC to Wash DC, and had to get her window tint removed or they wouldn't give an inspection sticker.

50% realy isn't dark enough to do any good.
If you want tint, but don't want it dark looking.... just go with 35% on rear and doors.
