time/clock resets

every time i start my car my clock resets. super annoying! my warranty is over and i was wondering if there was a quick fix to this? help

You need a new battery.

+1, common symptom reported when your battery is going bad. I have personal experience with this as well, new battery fixed the problem with my e60.

Yup, that's usually the first sign of a declining battery. More problems and error messages will likely follow soon, assuming there is no other serious electrical issues. Mine started with the date and time, moved on to the trip meter, and then on to Active Steering malfunctions.

thanks, can anyone recommend a good battery to buy? or should i just buy the oem version?
