There is throttle lag and not-so-smooth shifts particularly between 1st & 2nd & 3rd gear shifts.

I got a new transmission about 3 years ago and the latest software updates about 1 year ago.

any suggestions?

i assume you've tried a reset? other than that: mechatronics sleeve?
