So I found a 05' 545I at a very small local dealership.......

specs:

asking- $22,995

2005
545I
Auto
66k miles
Jet Black with black
Fully loaded
no warranty -
1 owner
it was a lease car from BMW that they bought at an auction

I was looking at getting a BMW CPO 525I/530I low mileage....for the same price I can get this 545I but it has no warranty... I guess I could always buy a aftermarket warranty ? the asking price is really low...which makes me suspicious....

What options? What condition? That car, with a lot of options, sounds like a deal. If it is stripped of many options, the price could be right on, ie: not a deal.

Buyer beware.

you should be able to tell Nav by size of the screen, I can't really tell with the pics shown if the screen is smaller or if thats just the image displayed on it.

Judging from the pics, it may have nav but can't tell from the quality of the pics but not the proffessional nav with tv which has a wider screen than the one in the pics.

Also, it doesn't look like it has the comfort seats or seat warmers.

I would not say this car is fully loaded. I would also be asking if it has active steering, brake assist, etc.

66,000 miles...Can you purchase an extended warranty of some type? It looks in excellent condition from your pictures, but like the other e60 member said earlier, and I agree: Buyer beware!! I would have it fully checked out by a BMW mechanic, on one of his off days, and give him a case of beer and some cash to check it over fully, before you make an offer. Then I would offer less 10% on the asking price, and deal in cash. I did that when I purchased my new 530i in 2004, and of course they decline the 10%, but I did get 8% off the Atlanta BMW dealer asking price, and an 7 yr /100,000 mile extended warranty planned at a greatly reduced rate, and I did this in three day negotiations back and forth, and finally I showed up to my BMW dealer one day with a Certified Bank draft made out to me for $52,000.00 drive out, TAX and 100,000 mile extended warranty included, and got the BMW salesman chomping at the bit for it and wanting to deal...but that's what it took to show them I was not Bs'ing them and was serious, and got the ball rolling and finalized my offer I made the BMW dealer owner for my new BMW e60 530i on the third day of negotiations!

Hope this helps some, and good luck!!
