Rumors are that it has a more aggressive note than 06/07. Would be nice to hear a sound clip.

I wonder if it will fit an 07.

If the sound is better, it sure would be interesting to price a stock exhaust versus the high priced aftermarket. This may be an option if the fitment is the same.

It seems that the 550i sport's muffler is the same as yours but without the muffler valve system...it's not known if there are any internal mods. have you seen member sol's 550i muffler ?

thanks for the lead, just found sol's earlier post with the exhaust pics. Interesting questions on the exhaust valve for 08. Like tits on a bull for 07 ??? I wonder if anyone (BMW) can lend an explantion on the functionality or issues with removing?

I would like to hear a stock 08 muffler to see if the sound is different. Point me to a clip if you find one
