I'm thinking of installing the 2nd boot light as found in the extended lights package. But I'm confused as to where this light is meant to be. I've looked at the TIS and the WDS and they both show the light in different places.
The WDS shows it at the edge of the boot lid

But the TIS shows it in the middle of the boot lid on the underside where the carpet/felt is.

Can someone please confirm this for me.
Why am I bothering? Well I opened the trim of the boot lid to rewire my rear camera with a 30G power source instead of a direct fuse box connection. The reason I'm doing this is because a direct fuse connection was draining the battery the 30G should switch off when the car goes to sleep. So since I'm there I thought I might as well do this simple mod as well.

The light in the WDS is shown as E33 not where you've drawn it. What you've drawn is as per the TIS number 1. Hence my confusion.

Thats what I thought too because there is no cut-out where the WDS shows it. But how is a light in that position supposed to be of any use? Doesn't it come over the back window when the boot is open?

So its a light for the emergency kit rather than the boot. Thank you that helps. I've given up doing this for the moment. Its way too difficult to route a wire from the side of the boot to where the boot light is without removing the parcel shelf panels.
