My Ride: 04' 530i Sport/premium/cold wx/PDC/xenon.
Been there, done that!
OK, so I went to a track day with the BMWCCA White Mountain chapter. Actually I've been twice now.
So you go to a class to learn the track rules, and then you spend your track time with an instructor.
You drive as fast as your own limit. There is NO CONTACT during the track time.
It is safe, and FUN!!!!!!!!!!! And it's legal.
You are really missing something if you don't explore the limits of your car in a safe, contolled, setting.
