Ok, I have style 135s on my 2010 535i with M-Sport package. I have always had a huge crush on the 172 wheels. If I put them on my car does that make me a 550i poser?

as long as the badge on the back either says 535i or is non-existent, then you are not a poser. look at the hoards of members with M5 wheels on here!

172s are IMHO, the most beautiful of all of the E60 wheels. I adope mine. Putting them on your 535 will not make you a poser. Putting a 550 badge on your 535 would.

Wheels are wheels, get what you like to make your car look good. At the end of the day, the only folks who will know are BMW drivers and as others have said, as long as you don't re-badge it then your fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not looking to de- or re- badge, just really want those darn wheels.

I'm assuming that my tire sensors and bmw center cap will off my 135s will fit the 172s as well, right?
