The RS4 is the B7 shape with the V8. It is awesome but I'm looking for something a little less savage and with a little more space.
Perhaps a 550 would be a better compromise...
PS. VERY surprised to hear a BMW forum recommending that I stick with an Audi!

I am also moving from an RS4 into a 550 for the same reason. I love my RS4, it has so many positive, but space is definitely at a premium.
Now that I have come to sell it I am amazed at how big a hit the RS4 has taken. With a new MSRP of $74k a 1 - 2 year old vehicle is wholesaling in the mid $30's. I think it has a lot to do with the economy and demand, because I found that 550's have taken a similar hit also in mid $30s at auction, so only way I could make the deal work and not be severely upside down was switch into a '08 550.

It is obviously a great time for those looking for low mileage RS4s.
