I've been trying to sell my '08 550i exhaust since I replaced it with a Dinan model a few months ago. I've tried selling it via eBay and Forums, but nothing. I was only asking $99; I know they go for $1100 new. Should I assume there's virtually no market for these and just store it in my basement?

Sorry, I don't think there really is a market. Most people are looking for an upgrade to OEM exhaust, not another OEM exhaust. Also, the ones that have upgraded their exhaust would probably keep their OEM if, for example, they need to return it when their lease ends.

In HK we just sell it to the scrape metal and get a about $30usd
also some ppl like me will keep the old OEM 1 to put back on when selling the car.
it will be easy to sell the mod exhaust than the OEM.
