The force feedback is what you feel when using the idrive in several functions.
It reacts to the menu positions or options you are able to choose.
Other times as using the radio, you don't feel it to choose a different radio station.
In the phone menu you will feel it clicking towards the options.

I agree that it beneficially occurs at the end of a menu, but it also happens with strong force on some menus that indicate more choices below the screen showing, such as in the Nav. In such case the controller provides quite a bit of resistance to the next turn, even to the point that it scrolls down more than 1 entry once you force it past the resistance point. This happens to me with nearby restaurants, for example. I don't understand why it would do this, since there are clearly more options below the last entry as indicated by the arrow. I also don't like the sensation of having to force the controller.
Has anyone else experienced the resistance, such as on the nav/restaurant menu, or is my controller/I Drive experiencing a problem?
