Is there an entry/exit mode for the seats?

In past vehicles I've owned, when the driver opens the door to enter or exit, the seat will move back and the steering wheel will move up and out of the way.

It seems with the new 5 series only the steering wheel moves. Does anyone know if this is available to activate for the seat?

I think not, but I am not positive. I have never heard of the feature being available and have never seen it in the manual.

My steering wheel moves. It was the same on my E39, the seat there never moved if I remember correctly.

Only steering wheel and sid bolster on comfort seat. On the MB E-class the seat moved back. Pretty annoying if anyone/anything was placed behind it..

Check if your Steering Wheel is already in the top position while you drive....in that case, it cant move any higher.

Its manual adjustment on my 06 model 530i M Sport. Do you have to pay extra for the electric adjustment - if so I didnt see it in the options list !
