<_< stopped for gas and had a few pine needles stuck under the hood, so poped the hood and found the driver side headlight bracket cracked, after having both replaced just three months ago. :(

That's just fabulous news. Good to see they resolved the design issue with them!

I haven't checked mine yet but will do so to see if they are cracked..

Mine are broken or cracked as well, but what's the harm. I do expect to have them fixed during my oil change, but for now, the lights work just fine.

Oh, come on. He was already correcting himself once. It was in good fun. No harm intended. :)

Mine aren't broke (yet) so I'm a happy camper..

kscarrol 10-03-2004 04:15 PM

Sue, no offense taken. With as much wine as I had drunk that night, I was surprised that there were not more errors! Good thing you can't slur using a keyboard. And Heezy is right, the light functions fine, but the first go around, one had broken clean through so that the headlight was easily moved by hand, and I assume by road bumps and vibrations. That doesn't do much for the proper alingment of the light. But the bigger gripe I have is that there clearly a design issue here that has not been corrected. If I'm going to have to bring the car in every 2-3 months to get the brackets replaced, I will start to get annoyed after a while. :|
