Hi all,

Well I bought a CPO 2005 E60 545i last week with a condition on the contract that before I sign off on any paper work, it would be "Subject to Test Drive". The car has about 41,000 KMS (24000 miles) and it has the Premium Package and Sport Packages.

My test drive is tomorrow Friday, October 3rd and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of things I should be checking. I will complie a list before I go but here are a few things I will check out.....

check heated steering wheel
check front and rear heated seats
bluetooth feature working?
CD in working order
check all power seats
check out body for any imperfections
wheels
Anything else I should be looking for or focus on? How about the drive? Any telltale signs I should look for?

Much appreciated.

41000km..... i think it's Inspection time... so just have them take it in for service and see what the dealer has to say on it...

Thanks...I actually bought it from a BMW dealer and they did the full inspection already. They ended up putting on new brakes, rotors and tires all way around.

This is a list form the FAQ section regarding taking delivery of a new car, I am sure most of it still applies..
