test Ac compressor

is there any way to test the AC compressor? AC hasnt been working for some time now. Changed compressor (tested AC on parts car, blows cold. swapped over, vacuum and recharge freon) still blowing hot. changed IHKA from same car iwth working AC. coded in WINKFP and inpa and now getting a random 3 blinks on snowflake button and warm air. only code in my whole car is under the KLIMA - 9C6F. (Cant find much when i google that code)

so im trying to figure out, did something go wrong with the coding (i have latest daten files, actually updated other modules in the process) or if the compressor somehow stopped working from when we pulled from one car and placed on mine.

is there a way to maybe jump the compressor and see if the ac starts cooling or if anybody has any ideas besides "take it to bmw"

Same problem with two compressors? How's the wiring to the compressor?

If you are fully charged, you can apply 12v to the compressor wiring and the AC clutch will lock up and the compressor will "compress." You then use a gauge set to measure the pressure at the low pressure port vs the high pressure port. If the high pressure port is not high, then the compressor may be the culprit.

But, that assumes everything else is good and in a non-op AC system, that is a big assumption. The drier maybe plugged up, the expansion valve maybe plugged up.

yea i was just wondering if itll be safe to put 12v to the compressor before something bad happened. im going to test this way, if nothing then at least i can count it out completely.
trying to get this fixed as summer is here and im driving the car more and would rather not die of heat stroke while stuck in traffic.

thank you guys.
