Temperature Display in i-Drive window?

I searched but didn't find this topic yet: Is it possible to display the temperature along the bottom of the iDrive [CID if you will] window? It seems like there would be space for it next to the time and date. I searched through the iDrive menu hierarchy and didn't see it, so I imagine it would be a dealer update.
Of course, I have no problem reading the outside temperature in the driver infomation center, but it would be nice for my wife and passengers to know without asking me. Don't want to hoard the knowledge!!
