My passenger temp control knob fell off. It didn't break, I try to re align knob but doesn't want to go on. Don't want to push to hard as to cause it to break. Any Idea's on re installing it. Maybe I need to push harder, but wanted to check here first for some suggestions.

It's probably "keyed" so irt will only go in one way. I know thats how it is in my infiniti. It falls off all the time.

Look at the back of the knob and see if it has a part that's shaped anything other thanv circular. If so, you'll need to line it up properly with the "key" part of the dial.

Thanks ronexico, I have been trying, many grooves and slots was looking for keyed slots I guess being 61 years old those little slots getting harder to see. I'll will keep trying I will get it eventually
