By looking at wheels. All three types has different style of wheels. Hope that helps.

I think this has been covered in another thread, but in additon to the wheels, the grill is different on the 545, as is the diameter of the exhaust pipes.

I notice the difference.
It seems that every time I pass another E60 on the road, they are always a 530 or 525.
I just smile and hit the gas... leaving them in my dust, staring at my 545 emblem.

BAH.. Im just as happy as you buddy..with my 525 but I also have the luxury of having a 745Li and a 3 series as well..so im happy alright
...and eating the 545 in the dust? well im not gonna deny that the engine is faster.. but the driver have a HUGE part in it.. on a highway doin anyhting faster then 60mph anyhting goes..i've beatin 545's be4 but I obviously wouldn't try to take one off the line thats jsut carzyyy
