I received a teleservice notification on my E60 stating that my BMW center would contact me regarding service. My dealership did call, I set up an appintment for an oil change, and the oil change was completed. The service oil light is back to normal, but the teleservice notification is still there. Does anybody know how to clear that notification from the I-drive communications menu?

Appreciate any help.

You probably have to take it back to the dealer to fix that. I've had that teleservice notification to change the oil on since I took delivery of my car back in November 2004. They tried to fix it when I picked it up, as I figred it had to be reset at the time as there was only 7 miles on the car. The service tech that was there at the time hooked it up to the computer and tried to do it but was unsuccessful. He was not very familiar with I-drive and the workings of my car...So I still have to get that fixed. I'll get it taken care of when I go to the dealer for the latest software update(bring on the mp3 capability!)...However, service rep said I will have to leave the car there and get a loaner to get all this done. Seems to me that something like this shouldn't have to take so long to accomplish...

I had the same issue. The dealer was never able to clear it out dispite numerous attempts. Ended up replacing TCU to fix the problem.
