Last week the capital letter T appeared in the bottom center of the I-drive display. It went away after a few minutes all by itself. I have been unable to find out what this means. Anyone familiar with this?

It means TMC activated which can be turned off from traffic info settings.

That's odd. I DO have TMC and use it for dynamic routing.

I've never noticed the "T" sympbol on the iDrive display.

I don't have nav and the only thing I can switch on and off in Traffic Info settings is something called TP.

A "T" means that your radio is receiving a traffic program but like me you have switched traffic advertisements off. If you switch them on, you will see "TP".
