Newby - Recently acquired '08 528xi, can't get the seats to sync-up with key FOBs. Dealer says it's in the I-drive. I found an I-Drive setting to disable keys, afraid to select that but is that the entry to sync-up? Thanks much!

Welcome

In iDrive there is a setting for "last seat position" (only if you have Comfort Access) that will remember settings for each keyfob and will move the seats, radio etc when you touch the door handle.
Otherwise, manual explains how to insert fob in ignition so each fob gets its own settings and will change when each fob is inserted..

GOOD DEAL ... Welcome to the forum!

BTW, you can download a copy of the owner's manual from the information section of this forum ... makes searching for stuff easier.

OP - have you tried saving the seat positions in memory first? I have them saved as position 1 for me and position 2 for wife. I remember when I saved position 1, my key was in the car and it should have saved it to the keyfob. After that, everytime I open the car with my key, it would autoadjust.

The only thing I could do in the iDrive was to set "adjust on unlock" or "adjust on door-opening" - something like that.
