Greetings,

I am experiencing inner wear with my rear tires (I am on my second set of tires with similar experience)and wanted to know if anyone has switched to same wheel size as the front on their 2005 545 or 550 with sport package so tires can be rotated? If so, is there noticable difference in handling? Are you able to eliminate inner wear and prolong life of tires?

Thank you...

first thing I would do is to get an alignment done just to make sure because if it's off, then even going with non-staggered, you still will the uneven wear on the inside on your new set.

AS for non-staggered set up, personally I don't think it's necessary to go with staggered except for the beefy look. Yes it's RWD and more stable at a stop but it wouldn't make that much of a difference in the handling department if you decide to go with 245 all around. The only thing is exactly how many more miles can you save on your tires going non-staggered because the rear tires usually go out much faster than the front. Of course others will feel differently.
