I recently saw a picture of an overhead consule with an on/off switch for the passenger side air bag. Is this a standard feature or part of a package. If part of a package, which one?

the one which you saw actually is not a switch. it just a notice that show if your passenger airbag isn't on. the light will on if there is no one sit on the passenger side.

hope this help.

It's enabled by weight and disabled by the lack thereof.

Does anyone know what weight it activates on. Can I put a 50 lb 9 year old in the front seat if I had to?
