In 1987 Portugal promised to give Macau back to China. In 1999 it made good on the promise. Similar to Hong Kong. In 1984 the British conceeded Hong Kong and promised to give it back to China in 1997. It made good on its promise.
Ding - China has ruled Macau under the "one country, 2 systems" rule of law enacted for the Hong Kong handover. In effect, it's really 3 seperate countries, as far as customs formalities are concerned. Each requires their own entry visas, though US citizens are granted them at the gate for HK and Macau. Travel to mainland is an entirely different story, however. It requires some moolah and about a 3-day notice. The Chinese did this to prevent an influx of mainlanders into HK, allow the economies to prosper under a hybrid capitalistic system, and ultimately to limit the amount of exposure to gaming and other such 'anti-communistic' activities that exist in HK and Macau. It's actually a brilliant system and has allowed Macau to overtake Vegas in terms of raw gaming revenue. This is trip #8 to Macau for me - I've installed databases and trained staff for Crown Macau, Venetian Macau, MGM Macau, Wynn Macau, and the soon-to-open Four-Seasons Macau (aka Parcel 2 in LV Sands Corp speak).

It was long but worth it except few stuff..

I was rolling in my BMW with nice music and girls with BMW pulled right next to me. Three ladies in 535xi in my age.. they were gorgeous.. but i smoked their beuty with my crazy driving habit.

anyways... trip was good and nice cruising and cutting ppl around 100mph for whole trip was nice.... BUTTTTTT BANG!!

When I reached NYC before I entered FDR. I hit some bump and man it was so long i thought that I cracked my rims...

EEEEEzzzz there pimp daddy G!!!! LoL

Girls don't think it's cool to weave in and out of traffic at 100mph.

This pic was a lesson learned for me. Don't learn the hard way.. Drive safe!

I drive in the worst of it in NYC. Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Manhattan. You just have to slow down a lot.. and make sure everyone notices you while you bob and weave at 2 mph's to avoid a sewer hole..

Is the English language a challenge?

I didn't realize buying a BMW would put me in with the 'can't write properly crew'....

I guess Rennlist has a lot going for it

I'm sure it is irreverent but criticizing a poster for not being able to string a sentence together should not be confined to regular posters
