suspension alignment specs, tire wear.
I have a 08 535 XIT that was experiencing a little wiggle in the steering. I took it in for tires to be rebalanced and they were all a little out.. that fixed the steering wheel feels better at speed. However the rear tires are wearing heavily on the inside portion of the tires. They are Bridgestones RFT RE960s and the center tread still has 0.65 left while the inside shoulder are worn.
Anyone have alignment specifications for this car? I would like to have the alignment shop set up the rear with a little less or the least negative camber that BMW calls for, so I can get a little more wear out of future tires.
By the way, what are people getting out of a set of tires on these cars?
Thank you.

I had my car aligned and the shop would go a little out of range and reduced it to -1.6 on both sides.
I then talked with a customer of mine, a new car dealer that is not a BMW store, and I used their alignment machine with the help of the tech to get car set up on machine. I set the rear to -.6 both sides with .18 degree total toe. Car drives great. It has only been 2500 miles since that and new tires were fitted and they are wearing even as of now. I expect the reduced camber will give up a little cornering grip when driven VERY aggressively but so far I can't feel any adverse affects.
You may have to talk to a few shops before you will find one that will deviate from the green OK marked specs loaded into their alignment machine.
