Thumbs up

Hi all,

My electric steering adjustment seems to have stopped working. :'(
Is it something I might have done ?
Anyone know of any reason why it might stop ?
I've tried with the key in/out, with the car moving/stopped

Cheers

Are you saying that the tiny multidirectional stalk on the left of the steering column isn't doing anything at all when you move it around?

Is your seat adjuster working? If not, loose connector behind the center dash unit - the one that has DSC, PDC, etc. buttons.

Your dealer must help you but on the phone it's almost impossible to know
exactly where the problem is.

A car is not a computer! It cannot be repaired only with programming.

Your car needs some new data or even more likely a new adjustment element
or then they only need the plug the connector in

Well - the stalk HAD stopped working. The seats were fine.
But I just went out and the wheel has now started working again.
I'll keep an eye on it and go to the dealer if it recurs.

Cheers
Nick

Get Nick, a new stalk from the dealers.

Phone them, order a time and have it done!
