Hey there, here is the way it worked for me. After spending some time on looking around i finnaly this - Peg Perego Pliko Switch (MODULAR SYSTEM TRI-FIX)

So, it's a combination that is working quite well for me at this point of time. Navetta system (big plastic part attached to wheels on the picture) is very good and works for 600+ km very well and it can be fixed inside the car so kid can sleep same as in bed

Cheers!

X2 for me on this one. We considered other 'fancier' types but the peg perego is a good fit and the stroller fits nicely in the trunk with plenty of room to spare. Good luck and congrats!

FWIW, I've read that "travel systems" are bulky and not very useful. Also, the strollers are usually not very well made.

We use the Graco Snugride car seat and leave a Snap'n go in the trunk. The snap'n go fits in the trunk wheels first so it only takes up half the trunk space. We have a baby jogger city elite for walking around outside. My baby is 4 months old, so he is still in a car seat. When he is bigger, we'll probably buy an umbrella stroller (MacLaren) or something and leave it in the car.

If we go some place where we will be walking for a while we'll throw the baby jogger in the trunk. It's a big stroller but folds up very compact, but the stroller is a dream to push and offers a great ride.

I use and would suggest the Peg Perego PRIMO VIAGGIO SIP (infant) or Britax Boulevard (convertable). Both have Side Impact Protection.

My Peg Perego stroller has only lasted one kid, I would highly suggest a Joovy Ergo Caboose stroller for two kids.

Sarah,

Welcome to the Forum. Some of us are comfortable enough with our masculinity to come right out and offer the following helpful hints on this subject. But before we go too far, we have to make some assumptions, and you have to make some decisions as well.

If this is your first child, and you plan on having more, then my advice is to spend a little more on quality that you can use the second time, or in my case the third time through. My wife puts the hyphen in anal retentive, and she investigated the crap out of the travel system, so here is my thoughts.

The only two systems we used throughout our three children was the peg perego, and the chicco systems. Both are Italian, and both are very cool, durable, and well thought out. You cannot go wrong with either system, but I liked the peg pergo better. Believe me, the extra costs of these two systems is worth every penny when you look at the differences in the construction and materials.

Babys r us usually has both systems and you can look at them side by side. Try clicking in the car seat with the base on each system. Take it out to your E60, put both bases in, and see which one you like the best, which one is the easiest to click in and out of, and most important, which one you can use the best one handed. Remember, you need to buy as many bases as you have cars.

Picking out strollers sucks. Do this my yourself, without your partner. Again, either the peg or the chico have great strollers and you can' go wrong. Again, I give the nod to the Peg for ease of use, storage and the all important test, can you open/close it one handed.

You will most likely use the base system for a year, and then go to a new seat. I have found the Britax marathon's to be the best, we have six of them scattered between five cars.

My two cents.

Good luck, Take the epideral, skip the baby classes, buy a diaper gennie, and start right now by making a list of all the people on the planet that have offered to help you and don't be afraid to ask.

+1 Great advice Stu. We have the Peg Perego PRIMO VIAGGIO SIP with 2 bases and Pliko P3 Classico Stroller. We tested many systems and liked this one the best.
