Anyone got pics of the 172M wheels actually on a 5er? I'm trying to decide between a 2007 and 2008 550, and that is one of the factors. I've seen the stand-alone wheel pics, but cannot decide if I think they'll look good on the car or not.

Thanks!

Is that carbon black paint??? (looks like it)

Is that an option in Europe? Or was this an Individual special order. Nice, btw. My compliments. I like the license plate too!

No special order. The E60 M Sport Model has been available outside the USA for about 2 years now. 172's were standard and carbon black was one of the color choices.

Actually the M sports package comes standard with the 18" M135 rim, the 19" M172 was an option and one of my favourite OEM rim over the 166.

I thought 172 rims replaced the 135 rims as standard equipment on the M Sport Models for 2006 or 2007...?

Not in europe. It stays with M135s as standard and M172s as the option.

I believe the 550i M-Sport gets the M172 as standard in the States. Not sure about the other models.

Oh, and I love those pictures of mambos M-Sport - the car just looks
