I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseum, however being an Apple user and stuck with Toast/iTunes, it's safe to say that I've gone through at least twenty CD-R's trying to figure one thing out.
How to structure the CD organization to appear Root>Artist>Album w/out importing into Toast and/or messing with Nero. Neither of which, retained any semblance of order other than folders.
Here is the old ball, yet ridiculously easy way to have iTunes burn a CD broken down into Artist>Album>Song folders.
1. Create a new playlist
2. Sort the playlist by Artist (by clicking on the Artist Column)
3. Click Burn CD
4. Insert blank CD-R
5. Burn
From some reason, if you don't sort it, iTunes will simply burn the entire CD as individual tracks without any structure. With the artist sorting, it then creates a folder for each, and then subfolders within that directory for said artists albums, and finally the mp3's within.
I've read every single mp3 thread here, and this particular tweak wasn't mentioned.
I hope this will help.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

Nice shots of your car
Nice background too!
Being an iTunes user myself I will have to try your tip. Thanks. Another little item I have noticed (I have not read all the mp3 posts so forgive if this has already been mentioned) is that Pro-Nav doesn't seem to display the "Details" of the mp3 song being played correctly sometimes.
Those times appear to be when you have attached "artwork" to the mp3 file using iTunes. I can burn with Nero or iTunes but if the mp3 file has artwork attached to it the software in the car reverts back to file names only in the details view.
Long file names in the folder structure and the album art in the small display window to the right!</wishful thinking off>

Excellent, so are the tracks on the cd conveted to .mp3 or are they still in .m4a format as in i-tunes? I have been converting tracks from i-tunes to .mp3 and saving in a new folder using Nero, but sounds like I have been wasting my time!!
