Default Stuck in park

HELP!
I have a e60 2008 BMW 550i automatic transmission rwd and it is stuck in park.

Starts, runs, when I shift to D or R it goes right back to park.

I used a Foxwell scanner and have 2 codes:

Active Steering 61 40 AL: Redundancy comparison, drivers steering angle

Dynamic Drive 5D60 ARS: Oil-level switch

Before I got the Foxwell scanner I was convinced that the mechatronics sleeve was broken and it would be an easy replacement but the sleeve was not damaged and now I cannot perform the full transmission fill procedure because it does not shift out of park.

You may want to take a look at the gear selector connectors

The wires that connect the gear selector are intact

Any chance that it doesn't think you're pressing the brake?

It has proper amount of brake fluid and the brake lights come on when pressed

Is the mechatronics sleeve fully seated? Did you remove the mechatronics unit? If so, there is a tab that needs to be properly aligned when reinstalling.

The mechatronics sleeve is set properly, the tab was aligned and the mechatronics unit was tightened to exact torque specs. I appreciate all the help, does anyone have a pdf or link to the Service Manual for my e60 2008 550i?

You may need a new szl but that had nothing to do with the car not going into gear. I forgot previous posts but was this car shifting before the work that was done if so you're going to have to do it all over again there's something you missed.

I am assuming your szl was bad before all of this. Is your battery good also
